The Religion of Minecraft

Top is the finish, followed by the final sketch and one of the color studies. Eh. I'm happy with it enough I suppose. Would have liked to take more time on the sky background, as the gradient I have didn't even scan well. But oh well. This was my first adventure into the world of painting on wood.. and yeah I probably will avoid doing it again.

I went to the website of this game and tried to come up with something to draw. Ended up just with one of the classes you can pick. Since I don't have any experience with the game beyond the stuff on the website, I found this kind of hard to do.. favorite thing is the dividers. Those are fun to do.

Too many chips on the dance floor.

So last month me and a few friends got entered in a popchips contest on facebook, we had to get the most likes on our photo to win. So we pretty much went insane with getting votes from everyone we could, and won! Well. Part of the prize was a years supply of popchips, which I kind of expected would just be slips for free bags whenever.... but I thought wrong. I came home from work today to find 12 boxes neatly stacked outside my door! I laughed pretty hard. I don't know where I'm going to store all of these.
